Has everyone seen the Numa Numa Dance ? Click on Watch This Movie. The most addicting video ever.
I forgot to add that the song is called Dragostea din tei for all you downloaders.
I don’t know about the video, but I’ve been in love with the song ever since I heard it in Europe over the summer. No idea what it’s about or even what language it’s in. No real desire to know, either; I like the mystery.
From the subtitles, I’d venture to guess it’s in Romanian.
Quite interesting! We are amused.
WRS/Thû - Nu ma nu ma iei
The group that originally sang the song is called “O-Zone.” They are Moldovan: Moldova was once a republic of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, and became independent when the USSR broke up. The capital is Chisinau (the “s” has a cedilla underneath it, this letter is pronounced as “sh”). It is between the Ukraine and Romania. The language spoken in Moldova is Romanian (perhaps also called “Moldovan”). A long time ago, Moldova was a part of Romania. Indeed, the flag of Moldova shares the same colors as the flag of Romania. More here.
WRS - more useless information.
If you watch that video, you can choose to see the English sub-titles.
