Nutella. What is it good for/on?

Travelling in a foreign land recently, I picked up a jar of nutella. I’ve heard tell of this product before, but I’d never tried it.

Upon returning home with it, I opened it, and gave it a taste. Quite delicious! And not like vegemite at all, surprisingly.

Alas, the directions on the jar are in some foreign tongue, so I couldn’t puzzle out any serving suggestions.

I could search the internet for just how to enjoy nutella, but I thought it’d be more edifying to solicit opinions/advice here on the dope.

So tell me: How do you enjoy your nutella?

Bananas

Nutella and honey sandwich(whole wheat)

I like it on warm bread or toast. It’s also good on cookies. You can use it as pastry filling; but I don’t make pastries, so I’ll just buy a Nutella pastry from a baker. It should be good on pancakes, but I haven’t tried it yet because I rarely eat pancakes.

Or you could just use a spoon.

Baguette (or, in a pinch, Wonder Bread)
Graham crackers
Rice cakes, plain or caramel
Strawberries
Apples
Your finger

I prefer a spoon.

Dunno about your neck of the hull, but you can find the stuff in domestic lands on the shelf of a decent-sized supermarket. So if you like it, you can find it nearer to home and with a label printed in English to boot.

It’s really good if you make a French Toast sandwich with some Nutella and bananas.

I am of the “dip finger in jar and lick” consumption habit.

Nuscois better than Nutella, I think.

I usually go with bananas and most baked goods.

Absolutely anything.

Lots of good ideas already in the thread. My personal favorite is slathered on white bread then folded in half.

You can use it for pretty much any application you’d normally use jelly, peanut butter, or pie filling for. Nutella is versatile stuff!

I’ve had crepes filled with Nutella. It’s also good on toast.

Somehow, it’s more enjoyable just dipping a spoon into the jar and licking the spoon.

Nutella pizza. And seconding the crepes idea, had some amazing ones a few weeks ago made by the French table at an international foods festival.

What ever is handy.

Seconding the white bread, crepes, and spoon.

On some red apple wedges sounds tasty.

Beautiful women.

He’s in the wilds of Wisconsin. He could hope the German supermarkets carried it, but if he’s in Scandaconsin, there might be a problem.

I orgas over that stuff. I found a recipe online for a Nutella cake, but I think something got lost in translation, because it came out like a brick.

Eh, Safeway and Costco both carry it here. Granted, it’s the Bay Area, but it’s not so rare these days.

(fading into a grandpa dropzone moment) Our town is home to what was once one of the few places you could learn chiropractic way back when (note how it isn’t capitalized because I knew those quacks, too). She dated students from all over Yurp, where chiropractic was still illegal. One thing that struck them about America (yeah, this was some time ago) was that our chocolate bars contained no hazelnuts.

Okay, they really liked how it contained no BARLEY. Hazelnuts were an improvement.
