I just bought a jar of assorted nuts packed in honey. Ideas on what to do with it? I was too intrigued not to buy it, but besides adding it to fruit, or on oatmeal or cereal, other ideas?
Add a heaping tablespoon to your favorite liqueur? (Keep stirring)
Ice cream sundae?
It would probably be good in baking cookies.
I wouldn’t want to dilute it too much. How about using it as a spread on some sort of biscuit or bread? It would probably be good on a toasted English muffin.
Are the nuts whole? If they are, try draining some of the excess honey and then roasting them on a baking tray until nicely brown.
Leave to cool.
Eat.
Repeat.
On good greek yogurt, stir, enjoy.
Eat it. From the jar. With a spoon.
Chuck a spoonful on top of an Asian stir fry. I keep jars of nuts in chili oil for the same purpose.
For a party appetizer my wife warms up a jar and pours it over a wheel of brie.
Alessan. In the Billiards Room. With the spoon.
Waffles!
How about in cookies or an ice cream topping.
Nuts packed in honey?
Twenty dollars, same as in town.
