I might be able to come too, if I can find someone to travel in and out with me–NYC makes me very nervous. The only caveat is that if there’s much smoking wherever we get together, I won’t be able to stay long. Allergies.

Just a warning, folks. For me it doesn’t matter - May 12 is on one of my Fire Island weekends, and since I’m seeing my parents the following week anyway I have no need to make a pilgrimage.
Anyway, the likelihood is that I won’t be there unless the weather is truly horrendous. (Pray for snow? ;))
Luckily, my mom is opposed to Mother’s Day on the grounds that it is a “Hallmark holiday” as she puts it. Though I’m sure I will call her on Sunday just because.
As I said in the other thread, I’m in.
The question of whether or not I can make it depends on whether or not my exams are over by then and whether or not I can afford the gas money, the second consideration being the more worry some. (worrysome? worrisome? Eh, screw it.)
