As far as I know, I’m still going. I think Gingy and weirddave and I are carpooling…otherwise, I don’t know how I’m getting there. Pretty sure I still have bunk space at Maeglin’s. I have no idea what activities I plan to attend…I guess I’ll kind of be going with the flow.
I don’t think I’m bringing The Purple Shoes[sub]tm[/sub]. Too much work and not comfy enough for the walking. Besides, they’ve become old hat. Errr, shoes.
Verrain and I are definitely there. We’ll be staying at the Red Roof from Friday through Monday.

I may make No Idea on Saturday evening, depending upon whether I sleep on the plane trip home & how much of a bitch getting home will actually be. I’m leaving Lauderdale at 2:00 in the afternoon, so I highly doubt I’ll hit the dinner portion of the evening.
Barring unforseen problems, I’ll make the day and evening portions of Sunday as well as the Bagel Brunch on Monday.
I oughta be there with bells on for Friday. Will try to make some of the other events as well, especially Indian food on Sunday night.
I’m not going to make it this year, to my deep sorrow. I had such fun last year.

The House of Pain is still operational. All who have reserved space still have it. I will make sure the gnomes have it cleaned by the time everyone arrives.
You might want to email me to let me know when I should expect you. Otherwise, there is no guarantee that someone will be home to let you in.
I think the lovely A feels strongly about attending the Saturday dinner given last year’s debacle, so I will almost certainly be there. The rest is looking fairly doubtful, but as always, you never can tell. I can be reserved for private parties, of course, but advance notice is required.
I would love to attend, and to stay at Maeg’s if possible. Unfortunately, as of now I have no arrangements for transportation. But Ah see what Ah can do. Is Mnem coming down again?

I’m getting into LaGuardia somewhere around 4:00 (I’m not exactly sure how I’m getting into Manhattan from there – how much is a cab ride to W72?). And I will be at Blondies. I think it’s a brisk walk from the hotel I’m staying at.
As for weekend festivities, I figured I’d wing it. But I’d say the gaming and comic stores on Saturday and the zoo on Sunday look promising. Of course there is also the possibility that I’ll be forced at gunpoint to watch the Patriots playoff game at some point, but I’ll burn that bridge when I cross it.

I’m flying solo Friday night at Blondie’s, and the wife and daughter and I will be there Saturday night for dinner and drinks (if the girl is allowed into No Idea; if not, we’ll pack her in a cab and send her to her dorm). But, to recap, that’s one for Friday night, and three for dinner on Saturday.
Yay! Can’t wait to shamelessly flirt…er, um…see everyone.
I hate to do this, but seeing as I am a Poor College Student, a hotel room for three nights is WELL beyond my capabilities. Does anyone have, I dunno, a floor or bathtub I can sleep on/in? Seriously, a floor is all I need, I have a sleeping bag and/or air matress. I will be greatly thankful and can repay you in some form (your favourite alcohol, floor mopping, sexual favors, whatever floats your boat.)
I’m currently thinking: staying Friday & Saturday nights and leave sometime during the day or evening Sunday. I don’t know who else is in Anita Vacation’s van, but since it’s “full” I’m probably taking the train or shudder bus.
I guess I better book my flight. I’ll be arriving Friday afternoon and leaving Monday late afternoon.
I am staying at the Hampton Inn Chelsea.
Because I have committment issues, I will be reviewing the schedule of events for a few days before I decide which events I will be attending.
I am getting excited about this.

Canby and I will be there for the weekend, and I’ll be hosting the Chinese meal on Sunday night (at the Hop Kee, 21 Mott St., my favorite good cheap Chinatown dive). Depending on timing and weather, we may be able to get in a visit to a Chinese grocery for pastries, dried fruit and whatnot and perhaps a trip up to Little Italy for dessert.
Also, we might say screw it and get a hotel room at whichever hotel is having the best doper after-party. Which one is that? 
Well, since I’ll be giving birth to twins on or about January 27, I won’t be making it this year.
