As luck would have it, I’m working in Columbus Circle tomorrow.
Are we gathering this week or no? If it’s on, where is everybody going to be? If it’s off, does anybody want to hang out someplace and get a beer or some food or something around 7:00?

The meeting that I had that was rescheduled to Thursday night has been re-rescheduled to another night, so I’m up for it. I realize that we’ve done Blondie’s a bunch, but if you’re going to be on the West Side, it’s a possibility.
Hey, I’m working in midtown now! More convenient to Blondie’s! (It’s not much of a bright side, but I’ll take what I can get. :))
Um, I guess I should add that I’m not in town this week. Next time, though…
I could be up for it… but where? Blondies is getting…weary. I’ll take a look at my resources and see if I can come up with a Cheap’n’Cheerful alternative…
I’d be up for Paul’s, too.
Don’t look at me, I’ve got a parent/teacher meeting tonight at my kids’ school. I get to hear all about why my daughter’ll wind up working in a gas station.
(goes over to the stereo and puts on the old Frank Zappa LP…“Pumpin’ de gas every nigh-igh-igh-ight…!”)
I will be entertaining my lovely mother, and packing for a little weekend trip. Sadly, I will have to eat a wonderlicious Paul’s burger another time.
They even have sweet potato fries, for OxyMoron!
Well shit. Now it looks like I can’t make it tonight. My bank somehow decided it was entitled to 99% of my money, and instead of having $650 in the bank, I now have $2. Between that and what’s in my pocket I barely have enough to get home tonight, let alone subway fare there & back.
The mice are not pleased.
I’m in. Any help on how to get there from lower Manhattan south of Ground Zero? I had just become fluent in Subway, and now I’m all screwed up again.
My options (I think) are the J,M,Z at Broad Street and the 4,5,6 at Bowling Green.

Last I heard, the West Side IRT (1,2,3) is running again…it’s just skipping the stations underneath the WTC.
I used it to get my kids to and from school today (Park Slope/Brooklyn Heights). I can’t vouch personally for the Manhattan service.
Anyone taking the subways should check out the updated maps on this page: MTA NYC Transit Full System Map
Most of the trains are running, but with changes. The 3 train only goes uptown from 14th; that change caught me this morning. I checked the map for the commute home.
