Don’t beat yourself up too much – the Big XII actually had a good bowl season, finishing 6-2, while the SEC will finish 6-3. The Cotton Bowl was the only head-to-head between the two conferences.
Bama was a slight favorite in this game yet only 4 out of 19 players in the pool, picked Bama.
If LSU wins, there will be a Tie for first and a tie for 3rd.
I think I forgot to enter a score in the tie breaker. It would have been something like 20-17 LSU.
Oddly if I lose this game, I get third place. If I win, I probably get 4th because of my omission of the tiebreaker score.
I did terrible as well. I didn’t get too many pics right, and when I did, I didn’t set my confidence to its best advantage.
Anyway, Oak, I’m nipping at your heels! I picked LSU, so if LSU wins, I should be catapulted as high as, oh, 17th place. WOooo!

Bama up 9-0 at the half. I agree with the announcers…why the hell is Richardson coming out of the game in LSU territory? LSU getting stuffed on offense, both defenses playing well. Mays out for Alabama, with what looked like a pulled hamstring. It’s still anybody’s game.
I think there’s about 8 people on the entire STMB that cares about college football.
I know LSU is down at the half. But they will win this game.
I think Alabama must have some supersecret redzone play they are waiting to pull. That’s the best explanation I can come up with: it’s a setup.
LSU needs a spark. So far they have been flat flat flat - of course their MO all year has been to wear through with the Four Horsemen and tear it up in the second half. So don’t change that channel!
Quality, not quantity. 
And finally - there MUST be groaning, wailing, and gnashing of teeth among the SEC haters with this three field goal game. Let’s hear it!
Huh, I hadn’t realized horse collar tackles were still legal in college. Assuming so at least, what with two really flagrant ones so far, I thing one by each.
Boy, did I get hammered in this thing. I barely got over .500.
I don’t like the SEC.
I don’t like that the SEC gets another crystal football. This is like being a baseball fan in the 50s and 60s, when everybody got to fight for the right to lose to the Yankees.
I don’t like having a rematch.
I don’t like having 2 teams from the same conference in the BCS NCG, meaning that a team that didn’t win its own division is the national champion.
I would’ve loved to see how a team with an offensive pulse would have done in this game.
But dayum, Alabama’s defense put on an impressive show.
Once again, Oakminster, thanks for doing what it took to get this group together. I actually enjoyed the bowl season this year, primarily because of this pick’em. The fact that I was #1 for a few games made it even better. As it is, I’m highest ranked of the ones who only guessed 21 games correctly. That’ll just have to do.
