I’ll be damn, I made my picks, but like some of the others, I forgot to save them. MORON!
It really didn’t matter for me as this week was going to be dropped, but I would have like to know if I would have won the week.
I think I would have missed 5 games, ranked 9,7,4,2,1 (NIU/Miami, Illinois/Fresno, Uconn/USF, VaTech/FSU, Neb/Ou) or 82 points. So I don’t think I would have won.
Well this was pretty fun. Congrats to Bleeding Blaze Orange on winning. Thanks to Oakminster for setting it up. Maybe we can get more participants for the bowl games and for next year.
I know many people seemed to think there were too many games to pick every week. I have no problem with 30 or more games, but if you are going to drop a category, I would suggest the top 25 games. I don’t know what the Yahoo default games are, but I assume all the good top 25 matchups are in there. There isn’t much point to having Boise State versus Shitsville Technical Institute on there every week, as everyone just picks those as their top games.
Oaks, great job! Made for a fun season. Helped that my crystal ball, or was the magic 8 ball, kept working just good enough to make it through the season. Personally, I liked having the 30ish games a week to pick. I’m sure there were games that would not have drawn my attention at all otherwise.
Looking forward to the Bowl Pick’em!
Bleeding Blaze Orange (although the Vols helped stem the blood loss with their late season winning streak)
Congratulations on your victory. Enjoy your official ** Oak’s Bag of Air*.**

And the thread for the Bowl Pick’em is here
Thanks to all for playing. See you next year, same Bat-Time, Same Bat-Channel.
Thought I’d give this a bump to see if it’s too early to start getting a 2011 version going.
How’s the chance of having fewer games to have to pick from this go-round? As before my vote would be for SEC and Top 25, without the “Yahoo! Picks” thrown in.
If a new thread is the better way to deal with the idea, let’s get one going!
I’d be in for this if it were top 25 only, or all 6 major conferences if people really want to go crazy. The SEC alone holds no interest, so I’m out if that’s what it is.
