There’s a rumour on Facebook that ‘Proud Boys and Trump’s Incels plan to attack cops at “No Kings” protests so that Trump can send in the military.’ The meme advises protesters to sit down if they see violence, leaving only the provocateurs standing.

I attended the local rally in June. It was a gorgeous afternoon, and probably the safest place in town while I was there. The one scheduled on Saturday is in a park that has very little parking, and thunderstorms are scheduled for Saturday. I’ll see how the weather is before I go.

I’ll be going to the one at the Capitol in Lansing. Not sure what I’ll be wearing (I don’t have a frog costume or anything yellow) and what my sign will say but I’m going because I am pissed. And I want them to know it.
There are a handful of protests within a 30 minute drive here in South Florida. I’m going to the one near the beach, about a 15 minute walk from a large underutilized mall with tons of parking.
The weather looks like it’ll be beautiful.
This will be my first No Kings protest, but it’s time to join in.
I assumed it was connected with Exodus 8:

Or it might just be people keeping Portland Weird.
I watched this video today. Others might be interested, so thought I would share.
I plan to join in the same far north DFW suburb, along the same street that we held the first one, back in June.
Interestingly, during the first protest, there was a steady line of people along about a 3/4mile stretch on both the east and west sides of a busy six-lane divided street, and I heard estimates of around 3,000 people (in a city of 200,000).
This time, the Mobilize page says “Our NO KINGS {city name} will be held on the WEST SIDE (NOT both sides) of {FM123} between {Blvd A} and {Blvd B}. The east side will be left for counter-protesters.”

But why incels? And why are they Trumps. I mean they are losers with an imaginary axe to grind, perhaps that’s why they like Trump?
