I got the Cursed Shield and am in the prcoess of turning it into, of course, the Paladin’s shield. I know you need 255 battles wiht it equipped to do so. Is there are counter or something to check your progress on this? And will battles inside the fanatic’s Tower count?
Sigh I’ve already done everything else and I don’t want to quit, but Kefka’s tower is all that’s left, that and building up and memorizing all the spells. Sigh, I love this game. It was the second big RPG I played after FF4. Dreamy Memories
The game is right up there on my list of all time favorties.

Whoa! Cool. I didn’t even imagine there was a Cursed Shield FAQ, and I knew so much about the game (pretty much everything EXCEPT the Cusred Shield) I never checked.
