It appears as though “sweet sue” was never banned. The name is still listed as Member anyway.

Coldfire didn’t think the first name is banned, but Sue said it wasn’t working. The second name can’t be banned either, since she’s still posting.

People can be banned, that is, have their posting privledges removed or frozen, without their Member title saying “BANNED”.

You also seem to have overstated TubaDiva’s position, which was that if people attack me in the pit then I am a candidate for banishment. (Why my attacker is not the candidate, since he seems to be the troublemaker here, I’ll not try to figure out.)

Well, that’s an easy question. Your attacker didn’t get in trouble because people are allowed to attack each other in the Pit, so long as they’re not a jerk about it. Many people found your previous posting style annoying. They’re certainly entitled to that opinion, and on this board, they’re also entitled to share that opinion, in the appropriate venue. If you, also in the Pit, had decided to counterattack, even with ad hominem attacks, it would not have been notable at all, but merely par for the course. I haven’t searched through all of your posts because I have, in fact, been doing my homework… You know, the stuff I need to do to get my degree? Don’t feel heartbroken by this, but there are other things more important in my life than you.

I do not and never have made decisions on who gets banned. Only the administrators (usually TubaDiva or Lynn Bodoni) can make that decision. If you were banned, and want to know why, or to contest that decision, then they are the ones you should talk to.
