Oddest Thread Move?

This is asked just out of pure curiosity, but –

Given that moderators and administrators (and most members) are rather particular that a thread be in the proper forum for the topic it discusses, what was the oddest instance where a thread was moved from one forum to another?

When the Cafe Society first opened, Eutychus moved a bunch of entertainment-related threads into it, making snarky comments all along the way. The one I remember was a thread about Michael Jackson being moved “by four little boys in Batman Underoos”

I don’t know if its oddest, but I view it as one of my most controversial ones:
moving this thread from Comments on Cecil’s Columns to Great Debates.

Ah, good times.

There was at least one thread that ended up looking like the travel luggage in Warner Brothers cartoons — been (almost) everywhere and had the tags to show it. Don’t know of any that literally made it to every forum on the board, but there have been more than a few that got misposted (moved, say, from Comments on Cecil’s Column to MPSIMS), the moderator in there thinks it would be more at home elsewhere (e.g., moved to IMHO), and then the participants get into polemical argument (off to GD) which gets nasty (to the Pit), that kind of thing.

It’s generally pretty odd for a thread to move out of the Pit. Even it was misposted there by accident, the first responses might be rather colorful surmises about the habits of the poster and poster’s siblings. Non-pittings (unpittings) and farcical pittings often just get locked with a cussout from a Pit mod. But there’ve been a tiny few where an angry rant composed w/o purplish language prompts serious factual comments and hard data explaining the phenomenon the OP was complaining about and it gets transferred to GQ or something like that.

Sorry, no links, these are a bear to search for.

AHunter3: A good deal of threads were moved from The Pit to MPSIMS when Giraffe became a Pit mod and decided to raise (lower?) the tone by ridding his new bailiwick of Lite Rants. But generally I agree: Once a thread has hit The Pit, the odds of it ever going anyplace else are pretty low.
