Odieman! Odieman! Odieman!

He puts up with me on IMs on a regular basis which shows, if nothing else, he has a marvelously strong constitution and more than normal intestinal fortitude.
He’s even escaped unscathed from more than one of my bad moods.

Taking all of this into consideration, I think he’s an alien.

Hama, he’s not an alien. He’s just Canadian.
Haven’t you noticed that we all put up with you? :d&r:

Speaking of which, I can’t help but notice how many of the respondents to this thread are Canadian. Hmm…

Is there room in here for me? I love the Odieman as much as the next guy. I’m sure he’ll show up right after me. Unless the next guy doesn’t like Odieman. Then I love him as much as the guy after that.

Pretty Boy Gordon is the NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon. He is an astounding driver, and Odie is a fan. Sadly. Gordon, while a great driver, inspires tremendous wrath in my little racer heart.

But I like Odie anyway!

:wakes up this morning, checks a pm sent to me at six this morning, goes huh???, checks out this thread…gets embarassed and hopes it goes away…when it doesn’t, he feels compelled to post to it:

Geeze I don’t think I was doing anything horribly special, it just seemed like a good idea at the time (now that will get everybody wondering, won’t it…)

Now let’s get through this without screwing up the coding.

Ginger:Thanks for the kind words, I didn’t expect this…

Tigg. Thanks for the bunnies and cake…I hope ya kept them separated.

Saph Bee’s knees, I thought I kept them hidden under my shorts, now everybody knows my secret :grumble:

Slip Sorry for breaking a hundred before youi, would it make you feel any better if I told you I have barely broken 110 at best since.

** Feynn** Now I know we weren’t twins…I played scratch golf once…but then I played the second hole.

Wicky. Hope you are feeling better…and yell at the lump for me.

Screech But if you were closer you would have to deal with some snow…and that does get old, remember.

TisiGlad to see I brought my newbie up right…hmmmm…even I haven’t been to the curling museum.

** Meek** LOL…I had to read that one twice…you know you are having a bad round when you throw the clubs farther then the ball.

C-Sue Well I am already shopping for a birthday present for someone…and she will get it on time too .

Elly Thanks, I hope the filming is going well today (someone is having a documentary made of her and her dogs).

Una. Geeze I thought I was made a mod on the Unaboard for my brilliance and good looks.

Lola Well I was blushing a bit…but I didn’t post mostly because I wasn’t up yet.

Fierra Thanks for the bad pun…I know I can count on you for that…and for being gentle with me on ICQ in the morning.

dpr I guess it takes a nice guy to know one…if that isn’t blowing our horns too much.

Hama You rock…if it was a pain in the ass I would talk to you, would I?

** Munch** Always room for more here…but bring chocolate, most of the people in this thread are addicted to it…but not with peanuts, don’t want to kill Sue or Elly.

Now I will go and blush furiously in the back room.

Keith

Odieman is definitely my favorite Canadian. Always kind, sweet, and sharp as a tack. And boy does he know his music!

I love Keith dearly. He is one of my best friends and never fails to BE there for me when I need him, and the rest of the time, too. And he is funny, and cute, and has a heart for people.

Thanks for being you, honeylove…everyone is correct…you DO rock!

My Love to you Always,

Cheri

Geez… I don’t even know where to start. So I won’t. Suffice it to say that I know Odie very very, eh hmmm, I know him very well. And he is a good person. And very deserving of this thread! [sub]even though he doesn’t think so[/sub]

Keith - you will forever be special to me sweetie!

Love always, Callllie

I’m not a Canadian, but I, too, think Odie ROCKS!

He’s wonderfully nice and doesn’t make fun of all my typos and spelling errors

Rasa: You are my favorite person who moved from coast to coast and back again in the past year…you rock too…

Scotti Thanks for the complements, you are making me blush again

Mauv…What spelling errors, I haven’t noticed any talking to you…I am too busy correcting my own.

CallieEverything you say goes double for me too…you have a special place in my heart too, and I will remember the time we spent together always…you are one of the good ones,Christy.

Hmmmmmm…I think I have everybody here

Keith

Whoops forgot…love you too Christy…I knew I forgot something…and I want to say I value each of you as friends…and those I don’t know…well I hope to get to know you better too (god that sounds cheesy)

Keith

Isn’t it unfortunate how often plain ol’ nice gets called cheesy?

Good thing I never have that problem.

Who loves you, Keith? WE DO! WE DO!

Don’t forget that Odieman is the Official SDMB Chat Room Rock Trivia Meister as well!

He can shoot a semi-one-hit-wonder slipstream-hit at 20 paces, lemme tell you.

I can’t wait to hear what Odie’s good deed is/was. Must be a whopper!

Also, is it just me, or did anyone else think Beetlejuice when they read the thread title?

Actually, I heard Jan from the Brady Bunch saying “Marcia, Marcia, Marcia”.

Odieman’s definitely one of the good guys. Shame about the 'Riders, though.

Pipeliner, he can’t help it. His parents just sorta popped him there and you get rooted out there, ya know?

Ginger: I don’t spread this around much, but I grew up in Regina.

Which is why I think it’s a shame about the 'Riders (this season, anyway.)

Not to go off on a tangent here Ginger, but did anyone take pictures of your summer Dopefest in Edmonton? I was hoping to make it, but ending up heading back to Weinerpeg unexpectedly (lost my job, had to leave Alberta, etc. It’s a long and ugly story.)

Canadian Sue took some pictures, bug her!

I think it’s time for another Secret Canadian Orgy Dopefest. Maybe Odie will come to this one.

Nym…gawrsh you are gonna make me blush…but you did make me smile.

Coldy I kinda knew you would mention the trivia thing…one of the benefits of having a warped mind I can remember useless stuff like that but not the important stuff.

Ruby I don’t think my nice thing is that stupendous…at least not enough to warrent a thread like this, I suspect many people would have done the same thing. Hmmm…that just heightens the mystery…

Pipeliner Hmmmm…I will have to remember to buy that damn hat the next time I go into Regina…wanna shoot me an address to send it to you.

Keith
