I think this proves the multi-verse theory. In some parallel universe, there is someone describing that theory and saying “you may think it’s crazy, but in some universe, Donald Trump is the President”. WE’RE GOING TO BE THAT UNIVERSE!

If I were just looking at numbers (or maps) and colors, that would feel like a reasonable argument.
But I’m assuming that the NYT staff knows that. And has factored it in. And is still saying 77%.

Michigan & Wisconsin are the only states that matter right now. If she loses either, she has no remaining path to win. She’s not going to lose Wisconsin and make up 10 EVs in Arizona or something.

But for example NYT live model is supposed to be experts, and now says 80% chance Trump wins. Of course just like it was going in with Clinton at around 80%, 80 isn’t 100. But that was before a serious apparent apparent polling error was confirmed. Clinton isn’t gteed to lose, but there was definitely a polling problem.
Also betting markets are pretty few people and skewed outside the US, but S&P and Peso futures markets represent tons of money all over and have dropped 4 and around 9%. So it’s not over but HRC is in big trouble right now.
As may be, the experts didn’t anticipate this, and bettors don’t wager real money in anticipation of losing it. The fact that the betting line is that high should send a chill down your spine.
My last post 20-odd minutes ago may have gotten lost, but the Detroit Free Press has called Michigan for Clinton. Just FYI, for what it’s worth.
