I am resigned to being horrified tonight, whether Trump or Clinton win.
As Silver pointed out, Clinton ran up huge wins in states like Massachusetts, New York and Maryland. All of which, like the huge win she will get in California, is pretty much millions of excess votes meaning very little. Meanwhile for want of 100,000 votes out of millions cast in Florida, the state is lost and with it possibly the election.
