White Trash Nation.

Yes, people voted for an ignoramus who sexually assaults women, cheats on his wife, pays no taxes, cheats employees, wants to murder the families of terrorists, torture people, deport 20 million people, institute a religious test for entry to the country, imprison women for getting abortions, and so on because they like his policy positions.

It’s racism, bro. Not everyone of course, but it’s what electrified them.

I’m with you on SCOTUS. That was just so unfair. Democrats have every right to filibuster the Trump’s choice if he wins and NEVER approve anyone.

This is how I see it. People hate Hillary for being corrupt, but she never stood up on the podium and said, ‘‘Corruption is just great. I love being corrupt.’’

Trump stood up on the podium and made racism and misogyny a major part of his platform.

Since racism and misogyny affect me on a profoundly physical, visceral level – not to mention a practical one – I have to assume that is not the case for people who vote for Trump.

Does that mean they are as virulently racist and misogynist as Trump? Not necessarily. But they are, in the least, apathetic to the needs of women and minorities.

I find that problematic.

Wow, RT has some good viewing at the moment.

Cubs win, Ireland win and now Trump win, the Trumpocylapseis upon us.

This is truly fucked up. WTF is wrong with my country?

A 269 tie is possible. Would be awesome to have to have the GOP go on the record and force them to publicly support Trump.

James Comey is an American hero!!

Those were more likely to go to the republican, and that contingent was 3-4 times more numerous than the left wingers that went for Jil Stein. So it’s no comfort pointing to point that out since Johnson actually hurt Trump and boosted Hillary more and she is still so damaged.

Bah! A Trump presidency will make Bush’s look like extreme left wing.

Washington state just called for Clinton.

A tie is actually a much bigger possiblility now.

True. Rural, non-college-educated America is speaking tonight. They feel disenfranchised, and unfortunately, they don’t understand how his trickle-down economics, racist immigration policies, and tax cuts for the very wealthy will not benefit them.

And then as the older members die off…

This is the biggest catastrophe for America since Sept 11, 2001.

They have the right to filibuster one justice and I hope they do.

Most of them have already.

This election night is beginning to remind me of the 1989 Academy Awards, which I wasn’t able to watch live on TV so I asked a friend the next day, “Who won Best Picture?”

“Driving Miss Daisy.”

“Haha, you funny guy. No, seriously, who won?”

How? I thought the more republican control in state legislatures, the more they are able to gerrymander (they lead now, and will remain in control)

Wisconsin, Iowa and New Hampshire will go to Trump, and his lead is back on the rise in Michigan.

Midterms tend to go to the party not in power.
