All right, Jude Law’s crack at Robert Downey Jr. Was pretty funny.
And YOU get an Oscar! And YOU get an Oscar! Everybody look under your seat…everyone gets an Oscar tonight!
Visual Effects: Inception!!
Ok, Robt. Downey and Jude Law were funny. Downey’s self deprecation is endearing to me. Yeah, I’m weird.
Inception for viz fx. I approve.
ETA: Downey and Law were hilarious.
Woohoo! Inception for Visual Effects, very well deserved!
Best Editing: The Social Network!
She is a former Oscar nominee…
And that’s makes 3 for Social Network. Woo hoo!
Maybe some momentum building for TSN? It’s beaten King’s Speech in a bunch of categories so far, and only lost to Inception for cinematography.
How in the hell was Inception not even nominated for editing?
Bob Hope reminded me of a Futurama head in a jar.
Wow, that is weird.
LOL, very good…
I’m beginning to wonder if I was wise to choose King’s Speech for Best Picture in my office Oscar pool…seems like Social Network is cleaning up pretty nicely…
Ok, I’m going to admit to heresy here, but I haven’t seen The Social Network.
Frankly it hasn’t had the attraction for me most of the other nominees did so I haven’t bothered. Additionally, most of the people I know who saw it have been decidedly “meh” afterward. So what is the deal with it raking in so many awards over these other films I have seen that were so good? And don’t get me wrong, I imagine I will be renting it soon and seeing for myself. But does anyone care to venture an explanation?
What is up with James Franco? He looks like he’s high.
more songs, bathroom break!
Yeah, 26 years ago.
My question stands.
On another note, I’m not sure it was wise to trot out Billy C. It made me long for the olden days, when the hosts were good.
mmm
Has Franco even looked in Anne Hathaway’s direction tonight?
No, not during Florence! She’s amazing!
Edit to add, ok, they cut it short and didn’t really let her shine.
