Well she does run a website and a forum.
Could be someone else who posts there that pointed you to the site.
That may be true, which is why I said it wasn’t conclusive that Anniee is both my e-mail and IM friend. But she is the one who e-mailed me. That’s address in the quote is the address I’m getting the e-mails from.
She made a full confession on the other board (oh dear. board war).
She should feel really really stupid for she thinks she is banned here. She’s not, unless her status has not been changed, but to prove she is, she posted a screen shot of the “You do not have permission to access this page” page I get pretty darn frequently as a result of being uncoordinated and clicking on the wrong space on the pull-down forum menu.
She’s admitted she e-mailed, and has also said that she didn’t IM you, and that it’s not her nickname either.
I did ask her how my name came up, and she said that came from the comment that she’d never seen a non-Ms. person tell anyone they hated their own vagina before.
I’d really like to know who the hell is IMing you and using my name though. Because I don’t want anybody thinking I asked someone to.

I didn’t think it was you catsix because you don’t come across as stupid. The IMer has been goading me to answer her. Because she thinks everyone is as stupid as she is.
It’s been 2 hours or so since I’ve received either an e-mail or an IM. I guess it isn’t so much fun anymore.
Since Anniee is having difficulties with logging in and having access to the board, I told her that I would put her response here if she wanted, and this is what she has to say about the e-mail and IMs.
In the interest of showing that I have not altered this text in any way, not so as to incite any kind of inter-board war, I asked her to post it also on her site.

She’d have posted that here herself, except for the difficulty she’s having with logging on. I hope not to extend any hostility, but I believe her when she said she e-mailed but didn’t IM.
Other than that, I hope this argument can be dropped.
I’ve changed the thread title to more accurately reflect that it’s not OUR Anonymous Coward who is the target.
Anniee asked to be “deregistered”, so I removed her posting privileges. So I don’t see why she’s complaining that she can’t post if she ASKED to be deregistered.

It’s a Slashdot name, as a matter of fact: Slashcode* allows anyone to append comments to posted articles, and those who aren’t registered (or aren’t signed in) are called Anonymous Coward.
*Slashcode: The message board software used by Slashdot and others to enable a specific kind of interactive news site. Simply put, a group of administrators is allowed to post articles, and all discussion happens in threads beneath those articles. There are typically no forums as we would know them, and a thread can split into multiple sub-threads because each new post is either the root of a new thread or in response to a specific post already in a thread. In a typical Slashcode message board, moderation is also fundamentally different from how it exists here.
