I saw (most of) The Matrix Reloaded today. I missed approximately the first eight minutes because I walked into the wrong theatre. I walked in just as Trinity was falling backwards firing and neo woke up. So what was shown in those first eight minutes?
Pretty much the same thing you see at the end. They show the ending first and then work up to it from the beginning.

[spoiler]Some guards were changing shifts.
Trinity drove her motorcycle off of a building and jumped off into a three-point landing while the motorcycle exploded like a truck full of propane.
Yadda yadda yadda, she jumped out the window being chased by an agent and was firing back. She got shot, Neo woke up, we had foreshadowing for later events. Basically, they just reused some footage from later on.[/spoiler]
