Yeah, that’s kind of the same experience. We went to the one in Natick, which is, as Robot Arm said, across the street from Tennessee’s BBQ (which is great BBQ, but Sherri was wearing a white shirt), and behind the Walmart (which used to be a Caldor). The movie theater was the AMC 15, which is in what used to be a swamp, between the Natick Mall and Shopper’s World. The old Sack Cinema is now a Lowe’s, I believe.
Welcome back, Lorene! And, congrats on the job, Robot Arm!
This is why I rarely go to the theater, any more. Luckily, it was almost deserted, when we went, and the people who were there weren’t obnoxious.
Hmmm…sounds like someone’s love life is heating up. Those tongue exercises must be paying off. And I, for one, would like to hear those stories about the pond by Wellesley College. Wouldn’t you guys?
OBVIOUSLY she never went there…what a fucking goombah she was…glad you dumped HER! Mrs. dctaz is much better suited for you! It is neither smelly nor rude. (Of course how many US cities could you describe the same way…hmmmm). (IMHO) Italians are some of most friendly people in all of Europe.
HA! Put fear into the teenie boppers! Not to say something as cliche as “when I was a kid…” BUT: some usher would have tossed me out on my butt if I acted like that. :sigh:…ok, NOW I’m officially old.
So, spill!! Did you keep your boots on? Make him beg, girl.
Hey!! Anyone heard from our resident spook of late?
((((((((((sorella)))))))))), I’m glad you’re feeling better, and that you and the munchkins had a good weekend.
Ah, Maureen that reminds me of the one time I was in the cinema with a good friend of mine (actually it was the Canadian woman I mentioned several pages ago). Some guys were talking loudly in the back and I guess I should have said something, but instead I tried my best to sink into my chair.
That´s when my friend jumped up, turned around and shouted “Would you guys shut the f*** up!?!” (of course not censored out). That was one of the coolest things ever, it´s a pity I was such a coward back then
Still, a good memory nonetheless.
Dave, sorry to hear about Sherri´s grandfather.
The Canadian doctor answered in the meantime, apparently he never received my first e-mail, so I am going to resend the CV this week. It looks more definite now, but until next april a lot of things can go wrong, so I won´t start being all hyped up until I am actually there.
I skimmed but there is a lot to read and I’m quite stoned right now. Percocet make me very loopy.
I came home today. Baby will be home soon we hope. He’s doing really well but is a little jaundiced and doesn’t have the stamina to take a full feeding yet. I miss him already.
I’m off to pump so I will be mooing quietly in the other room. Have fun. Glad to see dave’s back! I did email him but in the 400+ spams I accumulated since I’ve been away any reply may have been lost.
Feh. Pale imitations. The reason this thread is so wonderful and has such staying power is that it wasn’t forced, it isn’t trying to be something or compete with another thread…it just is. And it’s morphed all on its own, and will continue to do so.
Thanks, dude. And, that’s good news on the employment front.
[George] A hat, Gracie? [/George]
Yay! tanookie’s back! Glad you and the baby are both okay. I probably didn’t reply to your email, so don’t go nuts looking for my response. I think that came while I was deep in a funk, and not answering any emails from anyone.
shrug I got no problem with it. If they can achieve the kind of atmosphere that we get in here, at times, without all the angst, good for them. And, I noticed mipiace has already been over there for a dip. Any opportunity to get naked, wet, and drunk, I guess.
