to make a long story not as long:
i moved to the bay area 14 years and one day ago. i got woken from a jet lag nap by being shaken, only no one was shaking me. thought it was just a “welcome to california” earthquake at first. then found out what had happened. me personally, little effect to myself or anyone near me. red cross didn’t want my help since i didn’t have a pickup. so i never really saw too much of it.
but i sure can feel for you mo
