Well, I still couldn’t tell you if it was genuine or Strictly Professional Waitress[sup]TM[/sup] flirting. And while I may have realized it faster than I usually do (sometime during the bike ride, I think), it was not fast enough to do anything about it.
And I really hate to add this, but, she wasn’t my type.

I knew we were getting a bit more attention than usual (or at least my clothes were), which is always nice. But I wouldn’t necessarily have called it flirting at the time, and certainly not soon enough to do anything about it.
Didn’t really have enough time to get to know her personality. Just an eye-of-the-beholder thing, I guess. My taste doesn’t seem to be quite the same as most guys.
