Anna Nicole Smith died on Feb 8th, here it is, barely only a month later, and the news media seem to have dropped the ball and stopped telling me about this important person.
Or, in case you really are that dense, I’m being fucking sarcastic. This is a pitting of the fact that Ms. Smith was ‘news’ at all. Maybe she merited one of those ‘end of broadcast’, “Hey, remember that Blondie slut that married that old guy for his money, then got fat and lost weight with some sort of barely legal speed? She died.” That should have been the last we ever heard of that broad.
You do realize that by posting about this, you are effectively making us think about Anna Nicole again? Sarcasm or not, you’re perpetuating the same media buzz that you so vehemently hate.

You weren’t watching closely enough. The only news broadcast that I watched today was about an hour of news broadcast early this morning, and saw a breathless bit of guesswork to the effect of “OMG what’s the new info about her autopsy?!!1 Could this mean she was murdered? Or is the coroner trying to hog the spotlight like that whacko judge?”
So in order to prove your superiority to the news networks, you start a thread about it as soon as the coverage dies down. Kudos on the awesome sarcasm, you iconoclast you.

I didn’t catch much of the actual “Anna Nicole Show” but I always got a kick out of the Mad TV satires of it. Maybe she’ll live again, in syndication.
