Genius that i am decided to clean up my hard drive and used Norton Clean Sweep (I think it was bleach). Anyway I archived the files. I tried to run a game and got “No hardware support found for driver” or something like that. I dont know where to start cuz i archived so much stuff. Any ideas?
The easiest solution is probably just to re-install the game. Before doing so, make copies of any data files used by the games for player records. The installer will *probably * not affect any data files already in existence but take no chances.
If that doesn’t work, use Settings>Control Panel>System>Dispay Adapters to check that your video card is still set up properly. That’s the most likely cause of game related problems. It may be necessary to re-install the video card drivers before re-installing the game.
sounds like you screwed yourself good. unless there is an “undo” feature in your cleaning program, you’re gonna have to give us some more info on your system and what game you were trying to run.
