Oh, Sweet Nothing - MMP

:DKITTY!!!
ok I am back (obviously) I have tales to tell, and pics to share, but I’m tired right now - there was horrible horrible horrible horrible horrible horrible horrible horrible horrible horrible horrible horrible traffic on the Belt Parkway, the last leg of the trip into Brooklyn where Cousin lives. I may have mentioned our deal - I drive up, but she has to come here to Lawn Guylandt - If she drives home, she gets to drive all the way into Brooklyn, then all I have to deal with is the Belt/Southern State Pkwy combo which, by the time I got back on the it, was not bad at all. I popped on Fiorello! before getting on the parkway, and the finale was finishing up as I pulled into my driveway.
I skimmed the 2 full pages (my, y’all were chatty while I was away - especially for a weekend) and started to make notes about what I wanted to comment on each thing but said “screw it” So, Hugs, LOLs, Groans, Etc where appropriate and I will leave you all with some snerk-worthies from Saturday’s Chinese Buffet:
Our Life Is The Creation of Our Mind

Love Is The Most Valuable Thing In Life

Luck Will Visit You On The Next Full Moon

Little And Often Makes Much

Little Acorns Lead To Mighty Oaks

In Human Endeavor, Chance Favors The Prepared Mind

and finally

Our First Love And Our Last Love Is…
Self-Love

Ready, set, Snerk!

Oh, my, there are so many snerks to be had there, rosie! Welcome back!

I’ve been back from dinner for a while, have some clothes to put away, and should actually be in bed by now.

I’ve got tomorrow’s MMP all ready to go. Might actually get it started tonight…

Ewww! Did we really need to know that?

On a brighter note, I will probably sleep for two weeks straight through, starting on Friday as a result of all the turkey and tryptophan I’ll eat this week.

We had a board meeting today, and lunch at this meeting was DH’s famous turkey that he does in a countertop roaster with raisins, cranberries and wine. Let this cook a couple hours too long, and you’ll have turkey stew, rather than burnt turkey - it makes for a very moist bird - even the breast is edible. Dinner was more of the same. On Tuesday, another turkey dinner with the residents of DH’s building. This one’s commercially catered, so it’s probably a more typical dry-roast, and will probably be dry. Thursday, of course, is yet another turkey. Gobble-gobble, make it stop!

Good morning! Coffee time and then work. Details to follow in this weeks MMP!
