Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 63 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 87 and dry. Accordin’ to the weather PTB we are now in for real September weather. Somewhat milder temps and dry which means there’s more ragweed pollen to blow around and irritate my sinuses. Stoopid ragweed!
Ok, that’s all I got. I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then, alas, it is Monday so irk purtification must commence. Le Sigh.
Diggin’ on the weather, cooler and drier has made things not just tolerable but yesterday actually quite pleasant. Made for a nice alternative to staying in and watching all my NFL picks get thrashed.
I’ve been subpoena’d again in the child endangerment trial of the school bus driver who’s wreck I witnessed in front of our house. Positive for cocaine, flight from justice… she’s a real peach! Thing is, if you’re trying to help, why does the DA send you a letter Saturday saying to be downtown Monday at 8:45 or face arrest? Guys, I’m on your side, work with me here.
Beautiful sunny day in Canberra, Spring is finally getting here. Still getting over bronchitis - coughed so hard on the weekend that I hurt the muscles down my right side. Now its coughouchcough coughowowowch

My laptop got sick over the weekend so it’s going to the laptop doctor tonight. This means I will be only able to post from irk so behave yourselves while I am gone. Unless I blow off irk and surf all day every day.

Wish I could help you out, pearl (is that right?!), but I’m not too mobile, unfortunately, so sending helping thoughts your way.
I made eggplant parmesan, the new recipe, on Saturday and made it a bit more saucier - it worked out better that way. And on Sunday I baked banana bread because I had several banana just on the verge of “going south.” The recipe I used, I found on foodnetwork.com and boy is it good. It just took a bit of tweaking to accommodate the higher altitude here in Albuquerque to make it work. And it tastes so good, you can eat it plain, seriously. This morning, however, I sliced it thick enough to get into the toaster and toasted it lightly then spread a bit of margarine. I really should have eaten it plain, though. LOL It is delicious!
No real plans this week. Farmer’s market tomorrow, and grocery store (Walmart!) on Thursday, I think. Hope everyone has a good day today.
Blurf. It was chilly this morning. Unfortunately there’s no way of knowing whether that means it’s getting cooler or not.
… apparently we have a thief at work. My boss sent an email saying, basically, ‘that’s not cool and it violates the handbook.’ I’m already not in the practice of leaving very many personal things at work.

But not until I get some in me; think I actually woke up with a caffeine headache since I really didn’t drink any over the weekend.
It’s soggy out a bit; lots of lightning last night, which was cool. Big Fluffy Cat figured out how to get onto the shed roof; got him off there before he figured out that leads to both our roof and the neighbor’s, but argh…I’d thought the yard was finally kitty-proofed to where I didn’t have to play warden all the time. Argh!
I’ve been getting coffee at the boo because my coffee maker is still in boxes and I don’t have the right size filters anyway. This morning is the 3rd time that the worker thought the creamer I’d already put in the mug was leftover gunk and washed it out before I could say anything. Bastards. I’m a princess and I need flavored creamer. Sugar and half and half aren’t enough!
