Oh the Irony

Good point!

Anyone can quote the rules in this forum to the OP without fear of junior modding. And anyone can quote what the mods have already said, too. Which is exactly what Oak did.

Then it’s likely that the moderators disagreed with your assessment that it was junior modding. This gives you even less justification to go ahead and make the accusation.

No he didn’t. That’s a nonsensical interpretation. Oakminster doesn’t have the power to ban anyone, so he can’t really threaten them with it. In this case, he was making an observation based on moderator comments and standard policy in such cases.

Some posters use ATMB to take a poke at others they dislike. This is not helpful.

When your opinion goes against what everyone thinks it sometimes means you are a visionary, a rebel ahead of your time.

Most of the time it just means you’re wrong.

I hear ya, although I get a suggestion of “including but not confined to” hovering around that rule.

If this is this best ironing you all can come up with, I’m going to have to start going to the dry cleaners.

I’m still trying to figure out what is ironic about the letter O.

Well, it is round.

I haven’t read any since a few days ago. Just surprised the thread is still going. It is sooo last week.

You’re right about that.

Since I think the substance of the issue in the OP has been pretty well discussed, I’m closing this.
