Oh where, oh where can he be?
His last post is here, almost two months ago. If the police weren’t so busy digging up every parking lot in the city looking for Chanrda Levy, I’d call them.
Anybody know?

As far as I can remember, he was also a moderator on his own MB. For the life of me I can’t remember what it was called, but it was a thoughtful christian MB had a dining theme. Best bet would be for someone to helpfully have a better memory than me and check if he’s still active there.
Hope everything’s okay

I believe this is our Polycarp moderating over at The Pizza Parlor. According to his profile over there, though, he hasn’t posted on that board either for a little over a month now.
He’s fine. Alive and kicking. [sub](OUCH! Dangit, Poly, cutitout!)[/sub]
I’ll check with him and see if he’s got a message for his legions of fans. Meanwhile I’ll take the liberty of asking one-and-all for good thoughts/prayers to be sent his way.
Roger wilco, though I’m not sure MY prayers will do much good.
FTR, I was wonder why he hadn’t signed up at the Unaboard and was told he’s been busy professionally.
He’s fine, he’ll be back, but he’s no longer working where he had been, and that was evidently his access to the boards.
He sends his regards, we shouldn’t worry.

It’s my understanding that Poly’s new job is very strict as regards non business-related Internet use. And Poly doesn’t have a home computer. Thus… no posting.
Makes me sad.
He was one of the only Christians who ever presented a cogent case for the faith.
No, the Rapture didn’t get me. Tried, though!
Thanks for all the warm wishes.
As Tygr alluded to, I’m no longer working for the company I was (and which imposed strong restrictions on Internet use before I left), and don’t have a home computer. (I’m using a public access unit at our library now.)
I’ll be in-and-out from time to time, but unfortunately not often.
It’s for situations like this that I think we ought to set up some sort of emergency SD connection fund.
Lose your job and your access? Don’t have a computer at home? The Teeming Millions will run over to your house with a loaner laptop and cable modem connection so you - and we - don’t miss too much.
Of course, this means that you have to put up with posters making comments about your kitchen decor and laundry pile AND we’d have to have some sort of committee to decide who gets help and who gets a quick turkey walk out the back door, but hey, I’d be willing to donate a little to keep posters like Polycarp connected and current.
Yes, I’ve just been called in on the carpet and made aware of that as well.
It appears I will not be seen quite as frequently either. I know this is far more upsetting to the TM than the loss of Polycarp, but you’ll all just have to be strong…
No KIDDING! Me too. You’d think with all the geeks we have on this Board, that one of 'em would have a old PC sitting around that would at least function for connectivity’s sake.
I know I’d donate.
Poly has done more to open my mind than any argument could’ve.
