Cross Air America off the list. We watched it yesterday. My friend has seen it ‘a hundred times’, and she could relate to the characters since she was a helicopter pilot in the Army. She said that she remembers listening to the BBC when she was in Iraq, and they were saying that the U.S. had left the country. They were amused that they were apparently not in their Baghdad hotel – much like Mel Gibson’s character reasoned that he wasn’t at the base he was on in the film.
