Well, my budget doesn’t extend to any hotel, as I am flat broke, and I seriously doubt my mom is going to spring for paying for a night in a hotel for me, so if you’re staying at a hotel that is far away from the Fest, that’s not going to work for me.
Let us hope that this is not the case.
Can you stay at the Chance’s perhaps? I saw him offer up “a recliner or the floor” earlier…
If that’s close enough to where you guys are sleeping that you can pick me up and drive back, sure. I think my mom’s problem then would be not me staying away from home but imposing on the Chances.
By the way, nobody minds me bringing Fluxx (with two booster packs added), Early American Chrononauts and Original Chrononauts, right?

Just to clarify for myself and my mom, I should bring the standard stuff for sleeping over at someone else’s house, right? (e.g., pajamas, change of clothes, toiletries)

My plans, as of today, are to come down in the late afternoon on Sat. I have to see old friends Friday night and Sat. AM in Pittsburgh at the National Coin Show(ANA). Is there anyone that has a motel booked locally, that needs a roomate. I don’t snore(that I know about). If not, Nate, could you advise if a room is still available and I’ll act.
I drink any kind of beer that is free. Local craft brewed stuff is always appreciated.
Can I bring anything?
If anyone in Pittsburgh needs a ride down in the noonish timeframe on Saturday, I can do that. I can’t give you a ride home, however.
We had the same problem with our old conversion van, I unhooked the square wire (like an odometer cable) attached a drill, and it worked like a charm. Took a while, but it was still better than dealing with a bed all the time.

At least the Northeast seems to be solid, now that PA and NH are firming up. Ditto the West Coast. Of course, FL and the midwestern states (other than IL) are gonna give me heartburn right down to the wire.
