We have a number of MAD birthdays in February, Opalcat and Jonathan Chance among others, and this will be the last time JC will be a MAD since he’s moving to WEST VIRGINIA in a couple of weeks. (He says he’s moving to Ohio, but look at a map - Marietta is really in West Virginia! )
Saturday, February 7th at 2pm at the Vacation Cottage in Falls Church/Arlington Va. Let me know if you need directions. This will be pot luck. Say here what you want to bring so we can be sure to get a good mix of food and drink.
JC hasn’t actually guaranteed that he can make it since he should really be hard at work packing that day. But I figure if all of the MADs get together and chant “I do, I do, I do believe in spooks” at the same time…oh, wait, wrong chant…I don’t know, maybe someone else can figure out the magic words to get him to the party. So, let’s hear it!

Don’t forget that I’m gonna be a MAD this summer. I know I’m no JC, but I do have some socially redeeming qualities. And I promise not to play my accordion at any MAD gatherings.
We have been importing Dopers into the area. We brought in GingeroftheNorth from our Canadian farm team. We need to establish a few more foreign farm teams to produce Dopers who can be promoted to MAD-level.
