My dear sister AnitaVacation seems to think this thread will get more views if I start it. I’m skeptical, as I don’t show myself 'round these parts very often nowadays, but since she’s my big sister I’ll indulge her.

And also because she had the brilliant idea of hosting a Dopefest at her place in Arlington, most likely on Saturday, December 27, at which we can introduce our two even more rarely spotted brothers, Harald Bluetooth and jimbobboy. Er…I mean, they appear rarely, not that they have actual spots, rare or not. Well, now that I think about it, I haven’t seen either of them in a while, one or both of them could have developed spots in the meantime.

Ehm. Anyway. So, WHO’S WITH ME???

We can’t make it. That’s the weekend Dave’s father’s family has Christmas.

Damnation. T, her son and I will be visiting my folks in Philadelphia that day.

How long will youses be in town? Maybe we can get together at some point anyway.

Bill and I arrive the morning of 12/21 and leave the morning of 12/29, so if anyone can’t come to the shindig and wants to get together another time, we’re all for it. We will likely have the use of my mom’s car, so we can travel a bit.
