It’s getting to be that time again. Dave and I would like to invite you to our Christmas/Hanukkah/Eid-Al-Fitr/seasonal holiday party. We have a tentative date of December 6 - pending a conflict with a party for work, we expect you all to show up on our doorstep around 2:00 and stay until the food is gone. We’ll probably do a turkey and assorted other things.
Who’s in? MADs of course, but whoever will be in the area, or indeed come just for it, will be welcomed.
It’s way too early for me to try to write an OP. Just come and have fun, but let us know who’s comin’ first.

I know Ginger and Dave don’t want me there because they think I smell, but they can’t keep me away this time! I promise that I’ll bring my breath mints and wear deodorant, and maybe clean clothes, too!
Well damn. I had thought maybe we’d have someone from the far-flung reaches of the northeast posting to say that ‘can’t miss this one’ or ‘wow, gotta arrange a day off’ or something. I guess I’m just not that thrilling anymore!
Maybe we can convince Chicago Dopers to come here to get out of the cold. Heh.
