Make it a weekend and I’m there. I’m from Indiana I live about an hour from Cincinnati so I’ll definately do my damndest to come out. Just throw a date out there (I’ll bring along fellow SD’er Kremit334)
Actually, I haven’t the foggiest where to begin with planning. Perhaps a vet could step in and help. I mean, do we show up, eat, get drunk and talk about the dopers who piss us off, or are we supposed to do something of value and significance?

hehe good question, although if you drink I cannot partake for I am a minor and drinking is bad!
So I guess any adult female dopers in attendence can’t have “Let’s Get Drunk and Screw” as their theme song if you show up (I’m assuming by the “God” portion of your sig that you’re male).
Aren’t minors (how old are you?) of a certain age allowed in some clubs, but are under a no-drinking honor policy? I would envision a restaurant-type setting for the main shindig, so I wouldn’t see a problem with you attending.
Actually, I hate parties and gatherings of most natures, but in the SDMB case, I’ll make an exception.
But enough, I’ll wait and see if there are any more responses from folks who may know how to bring the thing off.

If it’s drinking of the variety in a restaraunt then yeah I’m there. And yes you figured correct by the God=male thing. Now we just need to wait and see if anyone who’s done of these before is gonna come along and point us into the right direction.

How about the Cactus Pear on Ludlow? Nice place, good food, moderately priced, and, most importantly, they have Hudy.
My only real requirement is that it NOT BE ON MAIN ST. I hate that place. Well, not Kaldi’s… but I really preferred the slum.

I just moved back to Dayton, Ohio after seven years in California. (I can hear you all asking, “On purpose?”. Yes, on purpose.)
Since I am eager to meet as many bright and interesting people as possible, I think a tri-state dopefest is in order.
