This is a mild rant, but the whole thing is just so skeevy…
This article about OJ’s girlfriend of 13 years after the murder of Nicole Simpson has a picture of her on page 2.
I took one look at the picture and thought I was losing my mind.
So I went and found this picture of Nicole (w/OJ), put the pics side by side… and went “yup… he was still fucking Nicole”. For 13 years after he murdered his wife (yeah, yeah legally blah blah trial outcome yadda yadda yadda), he was still, in a pathetic obsessed pathological way, fucking her. I mean, they bear more than a passing resemblance to each other: Christine Prody is the spitting image of Nicole Simpson.
I find the whole notion creepy as hell. I’m glad that my great state of Nevada finally put him behind bars, where he doesn’t have the opportunities to hurt or manipulate people like he would if he was out roaming golf courses and shopping malls.
And after reading the article, I’m even more glad he’s locked up, and very happy that Miss Prody is out of his reach.
I’m not good enough with Mac photo software to do it, but put them side by side… same nose, same mouth, same eyes, same arching eyebrows, same skin tone…
I almost started a rant about this but I was going to say I have zero sympathy for the ex-girlfriend except for what one may feel for someone mentally disturbed.
This was a woman who knew O.J.'s history, went to stand outside his home and ogle him, got picked up by him, “fell in love” and then was shocked to learn that he was emotionally and physically abusive. I think she had to have a few screws loose to even accept a dinner date with him, let alone go back for more after he mentioned on their first date that his murdered wife wore the same color the night she was murdered. What a great ice breaker that was.
I’m not really seeing it but I have no trouble believing that OJ was attracted to her for the same reasons he was attracted to Nicole. The basic traits are there.
That’s pretty much my reaction too. I am glad that she got out of there finally, but wow, what is wrong with her that she would want to date him in the first place?
I see a really good darkly funny parody about this, using Vertigo as the hook.
