Ok, commercials you do like

Holiday Inn Express

Although I would never drink a Miller Hi Life, the commercials starring that guy are just great.

I mentioned them in the other thread, but I do like the Jack Link’s Sasquatch commercials. I think they’re pretty humorous.

This one for Old Spice deodorant. I laughed my head off, even while I was saying, “Oh, yuck!”

For Armstrong Flooring. The wife’s & child’s expressions at the end are priceless.

I thought you were going to link to this one.

YES! We have TiVo, and we would rewind specifically to watch that one. I like the guy with the boombox best.

Arby’s. The researchers are so fascinated by the Arby’s sandwich that they never even see the chimps.

An ad campaign I always thought was brilliant- then they seemed to end it but I saw one again yesterday-

the animated ones about someone traveling on a plane to the tune of Gershwin’s “Slaughter on Fifth Avenue”, for United Airlines. Those are utterly charming.

Not me, my computer/connection can’t handle youtube. It would be nice to see descriptions.

The Coors Lite commercials where they take out takes from football coaches are still amusing me.

Saw one last night for Fed Ex that I get a giggle out of.
The boss is looking at a world map saying, “Maybe we should expand to China. Bill, put a pushpin in China.”
Bill puts it in Russia.
The boss says, “Uh, that’s Russia.”
Bill pulls the pin out, and drifts in the direction of Greenland.
Boss says, “You have no idea where China is, do you.”
And to cover his tracks, Bill artfully slips and conveniently tears the map off the wall.

Smooth!

Actually that music is “Rhaposody in Blue”. And “Slaughter on Tenth Avenue” is by Richard Rogers. But I do like the commercials.

I love the car dealer commercial where the guy duct tapes a car seat on the roof of a convertible. “My baby won’t fit in this car, and she’s no bigger than a canned ham!”

I enjoy the Tag Body Spray commercials. I don’t believe them, but I do enjoy them.

I kind of miss the Bud Light commercials featuring the Bud Light Institute. It was a place which was devoted to researching ways that the guys could get together for a Bud Light:

This one lists the Institute’s achievements in keeping wives and girlfriends occupied somehow, so the guys could get together to, among other things, have a Bud Light. “In 1953, we invented the Tupperware party, freeing up an entire afternoon for the men to get together for a round of golf…”

This one demonstrates what’s being worked on for the future: the Steaming Cup of Coffee 3000, which allows the user’s fellow employees to think he’s at work while he’s actually somewhere else–having a Bud Light, of course.

It’s not a great beer, but they’re fun commercials.

I laugh at this commercial for Nicoderm every time I see it.

THE SEATBELT SIGN IS ON!! God.

Arby’s Riverdancing chimps

I think this “Got Milk?” ad is hysterical (it promotes milk drinking to help with PMS).

I also like the “Who shot Alexander Hamilton?” milk ad. I end up feeling sorry for the poor bugger with a mouth full of peanut butter.

Props to FedEx and their agency - great campaign. Also including this little gem.
“Sue, you’re in charge of waffling.” “Are you sure?”

This commercial for Jeep is awesome: http://youtube.com/watch?v=45Vok2fM7Lg

Basically this guy is driving his Jeep, and a squirrel randomly jumps in the sunroof and starts singing “Rock me gently, rock me slowly,” in this off-key way. The guy looks at the squirrel nervously and starts singing along. Two birds fly in and add backing vocals. They’re cruising along, and a wolf jumps in the sunroof and eats a bird.

Dude gives wolf a “WTF?” look. Wolf spits out bird on cue, and wails, “Baby, baby…” and the song is in full swing.

Hilarious!
