Yeah I did download it to my computer. Sounds better in the commercial, but then I haven’t tried listening to it in continuous loop mode.

I think it’d be funny once or twice, then it would be annoying.
Personally, I want that bit of music in Carmina Burana that has now become synonomous with evil - I think it was used in The Omen. I would designate that ringtone for calls from work.

What I want is ringtones of songs that have ringtones in them. No, not the melody of the songs themselves. The actual ringtones (including part of the music if the ring goes on enough of course.)
I mean, how can you make a ringtone of “Wow, I can get sexual, too” and not have one that begins with a phone ringing?

I put my cell phone, well, actually it’s my wife’s, but anyway I put it on vibrate, so it normally doesn’t sound like anything.
Most of my ringtones are repeatable harmonic sounds, no custom music clips or anything
Current ringtone is the Klingon red alert klaxon, but I also alternate between a series of Macintosh startup chimes, current favorite is the G4 Powermac startup chime, my absolute favorite chime is the Twentieth Anniversary Macintosh (TAM) startup chime, problem is, it doesn’t have the impact played as a sound file, you have to hear it from the TAM itself for maximum impact
I also use the TARDIS “Vwrrp-Vwrrp” noise, and the only “audio clip” ringtone I use is a Dalek “EX-TER-MI-NATE!”

That’s is my ringtone. When I’m not using it I use the opening sequence from “Here comes the hotstepper”, the video is on youtube if you’re not familiar.
My husband alternates the Geico ringtone with the theme from Monday Night Football. For awhile he was using Pants on the Ground. For an old fart, he’s having a lot of fun with ringtones. His text alert is some guy saying “This is your midget friend calling, pick up or I’ll hit you in the crotch.” :rolleyes:
Mine’s the overture to Swan Lake, but when I first got this phone I admit to using the baby laugh for a few days. When I’m out in public though, I set it to vibrate.
I actually spent an afternoon looking for the TARDIS sound to use as a ring tone. Never found one that was clean enough. Plus, they all seemed to be from the old series; johnny come lately that I am, I wanted something from Ninth forward.
On the other hand, it lead me to downloading “Doctoring the Tardis” and making a ringtone from a piece of it that I use as my ‘alarm’ tone.
Why not combine it with an ad for beer?
If I used ringtones, I might consider getting this one if it’s available - Bang bang bangity bang from “How I Met Your Mother.”

This, from 0:53 on is currently mine. That may be my current Favorite Guitar Riff Ever. The Geico one I though was hilarious. That was mine for a month, and then I got sick of it.

When I had a working cell phone it was the opening of You Sexy Thing. If I ever get a new one the tone will be Leave Me Alone-- not sure whether I’ll get Michael Jackson or Helen Reddy.
If I had any clue how to make a ringtone from a YouTube video, I would have this snippet from the Helsinki Complaints Choir. Love it.
