Ok men, here's a somewhat shallow question...

I agree with a lot of the posts here - Women who carry themselves in a self-confident attractive manner can have whatever body they want - I would find them attractive.

One thing I appreciate is proportionality - I like it when a woman’s body is proportional - a large-ish woman with equally ample breasts and butt can be very attractive - as can a thin woman who’s balanced. Women with overly large breasts and no hips I find unattractive; same with women with no breasts and overly large butts.

In terms of ideal - I am quite tall (6’4") and really like tall brunettes of the Elizabeth Hurley variety - cheekbones, curvy but fit looking, etc.

Ever heard this one?

:stuck_out_tongue: [sup]She has nice handwriting and all the girls like her.[/sup]

Short and skinny but lumpy in all the right places.

5’3", 115lbs, 32B boobs, cute ass. Pretty eyes that find me often and a smile that compels me to attempt to recreate it when it isn’t there.

I like girls around 5’4’’ or so with at least shoulder length brown hair (preferably dark). Skin tone doesn’t really matter to me, but probably not too tan (unless she was born that way, I think I can tell the difference.) I like big butts and I cannot lie. Big thighs, too. (<a href=“http://www.kjcoop.com/pictures/teaparty003/tapthatass.jpg”>This</a> is a picture of my current SO.) I prefer the breasts just about average, about 34B in bra sizes. Waist doesn’t really matter to me, but not too skinny and not too big (As in, not bigger than the butt.) One thing that is a must, though. A girl must be what I like to call “pinchy” or “squishy.” She needs to have places, like her tummy sides or upper arms, where there is extra fat for me to pinch or squish. That is one of my favorite things to do.

Oh yeah, I’m sucker for firm calves. And dancers.

um, Holden? IMHO, the girl in that picture does not have a “big butt” or “big thighs”. She looks normal to me.

Although body types are an initial attraction, it seems to me that women with imperfection, as the majority of society would view them, have a more acute awareness of their personality that definitely attracts me. I always seem to be judging beautifully shaped women as to what they are trying to attract, and how hard they are trying to maintain their body shape. Not that healthy bodies aren’t great to achieve, but their motivation seems to me to be superficiality.

I’m curious about your disclaimer, do you think that men think that women would be offended by them having a type and think them shallow? (and do they??) Most of my friends have definite (and oft discussed) preferences about men’s body types, so I’d just assume that everyone, man or woman, does and shouldn’t feel bad about it as long as it’s not their sole messure of other people.

Height is negotiable.
Weight is also negotiable, so long as there are no actual health issues. A little extra weight can actually increase the attractiveness of some females.
I actually don’t really look much at the body type; I’m much more attracted to a woman’s face, her eyes, mouth and hair. Also, I find a nice voice (good pronounciation, pleasant pitch and possibly a nice accent) to be much more of an attractive feature than a lack of body fat.

Audrey Hepburn - in Holly Golightly mode in particular.

However, my darling partner is a dead ringer for Miss Grace Kelly so go figure?

Probably a few steps up from tall & skinny. I like em with a touch of meat in their bones, with a nice rack n caboose.

I guess I meant in comparison the rest of her body.

Maybe
this
is a better picture to show what I mean.

Bah, I searched and searched for a better picture, but, alas, not one
exists. She is kinda self conscious concerning pictures of her butt.

I assure you that she has a very large butt to rest of body ratio when
compared to the majority of the population.

Seems like a right nice butt to me.

I’ll second proportionality. You could be short and tiny, with a small package, or tall and large, with a big package, IMHO. As long as ya sexy and brilliant.

Hmmm…If I were to pick a fantasy body type, I guess petite - but then that could be because I’m not very tall myself. But generally, I find myself attracted to all types of women. The first things I notice are usually face and hair. And I guess I prefer some curves over too skinny and no hips.

My wife could be in Playboy if she didn’t have so damn much class, charm, wit, sensitivity, intelligence and common sense. Those elements, not her looks, are why I fell in love with her. But for the record… a blonde Sela Ward with large boobies.

as a girl who likes girlies id have to say my type is short (anything under mid 5 foots), dark hair and chubby. ive yet to find myself attracted to anyone thin slender or even athletic, there has to be that whole fat thing going on.

I have to go with “petite”. Nice butt, smallish boobies. That’s what would get me aroused. For me to fall in love? Eyes. No question. I was “too skinny” until my twenties, so I guess my body type preferences were kinda set back then.

I’m with Boo Boo Fan, my ideal would be Audrey Hepburn in her prime.

The eyes and the smile, no doubt. After that, being slightly taller and slightly thinner always helps. This is just looks though.

Charm and personality are finally what keeps me hooked. (Though looks are what reel me in) :stuck_out_tongue:

GDG

It’s surprising how few people have answered this question. Unless you’ve been surgically altered to match, all women are a little lopsided to one degree of the other. The fun part is a close examination to determine to what degree. According to the ex all men are lopsided too, just in a different area.

1.618

I raise my hand for proportionality, too. 1.618 is the magical beauty ratio number

But in fact I find it really diffucult to find a woman NOT beautiful. I’m quite adept at looking at what’s beautiful on a woman instead of the flaws.

A woman is more than the sum of her parts, imho. Even just speaking of the physical aspects. To me it depends on how everything comes together. I have been attracted to big blonde buxom '50s pinup types, short skinny brunettes in glasses, and all kinds of other women. Conversely, there are women that I’m just not attracted to, for some reason, even though I understand intellectually that they are very attractive. Like Sarah Michelle Gellar, for instance.
