He’s at it again! Last night’s “edgier” American Dad on TBS* featured Francine’s sister, a junkie petty criminal who is always in trouble. And named Gwen.

I think it’s a combination of that and subtle things that Fox just wouldn’t allow. For example, at the end of the previous episode, I don’t think Fox would have allowed the scene where (behind a windowshade) you see the crap left by Roger’s tenant plop out of Steve’s pillowcase.
You remind me of a line in the episode where they go to Italy:
“Is it Family Guy or The Family Guy?”
