I can now have respect for “Wake Me Up Before You Go Go”.
Damn you. That’s why I came into this thread.
Deadwood, heheh Great episode.
If I had seen Bewitched, I would have done exactly what Stewie did.
“Hey, Wheat Thins, take your top off!”
Didn’t Meg get shot up with poisoned arrows before?
Thought it was a little below average in terms of the whole episode… but I’m a big fan of anything where Will Ferrell gets what’s coming to him.
The sight gag about the Evil Monkey welling up in tears was great. And Peter repeatedly losing his pants was funny. But Stewie’s cutaways weren’t very good.
Eventually the long cutaways will engulf the show. There were three in this one.
Surely you just. That two minute bit about Bewitched was gold. Though I was wondering why he didn’t slap Michelle Pfeifer as well.
Do you mean Nicole Kidman?
Why would he do that?
:smack:
“Oh, I just did something for a guy in a parking lot. Anyone got any Scope?”
The second he walked out of the theater it was pretty obvious where that joke was going.
Kind of lame.
The caveman bit was sort of funny, but went on too long. Usually that makes a gag funny again. Not this time.
Still some good bits, but I lump this one in the “mediocre” pile.
American Dad wins the night.
They should have made it Julie Andrews instead of Sandy Duncan, and she could have told him to go rent S.O.B..
I would love to the mail this show gets.
I loved the part where Peter reminisced about working for Dr. Bunsen Hunnydew and he was Beaker shaped.
Best line: Lois, telling Chris he’s not married in America, “where God pays attention.”
The Raiders pastiche was nice. Seth managed to sound like Harrison Ford while still sounding like Peter. The sight of Meg face-planting into the water was pretty funny. And Peter’s “supervisor” … well, I have a feeling we’re gonna be seeing more of that guy.
Overall, a solid B.
I disagree - I liked the “effemiate friend of the popular girls” bit
