I have:
Fishnet tights
A black cocktail hat with a veil (probably more of a fascinator actually)
Lots of black leather stuff
Blue hair spray
White face paint
Lots of makeup (well, red lipstick, black eyebrow pencil, the aforementioned white stuff)
Not a lot of time
No ideas how to pull this all together.
Any ideas?
I do really love this hat & veil.
Go goth/punk. Leather skirt and shirt (a bodice would be perfect with a jacket), chunk/spike your hair around the hat, dark eye makeup (crazy wings on sides of eyes, big black lashes), bright red lips. I’d skip the white face paint, since I find it sweaty and it gets everywhere. Fishnets and heels or boots.
You could also take a big safety pin, and cut a centimeter or so out of the side, and pinch it around your eyebrow or ear. Or maybe add some warrior stripes on your cheekbone for some pizzazz?
What about a punkish version of a Robert Palmer girl (can you get your hands on a red electric guitar?)? Pale face, dramatic red lip, black skimpy outfit. Can you make your face into a blank stare?
In other news, I just found out Robert Palmer is dead … since 2003. :smack:

Excellent ideas! My friend and I are discussing the Palmer Girl thing. (I did not know, either, that he died in 2003. I guess I thought he just disappeared.)
