I’m really surprised that blonde is so far behind in the poll.
The thing about brunette is that it covers such a wide variety of colors, it’s almost useless as a classification.
Red hair doesn’t always work, but when it does, it works very well.
Blondes have always grabbed my attention. My wife is a light brunette (or dark blonde), but I dig it when she takes to the bottle to lighten it even more.

In principle, redheads, and that’s what I answered in the poll. In practice, though, real redheads are rare enough that the hottest women tend to be brunettes, just because they have more opportunities for extreme outliers.
Although, to be honest, I’ve also seen some women who look incredible as verdes, too. Though that’s generally pretty obviously not natural.
On the traditional 1 to 10 scale red hair adds 2-3 points. Natural of course. Currently I am dating a very pale natural blonde. Not a deal breaker. Been with mostly brunettes and married one. Of course red hair on a guy is just freaky ;).

Not true, I once had a luminously red-headed boyfriend and he was lovely. Also easy to find in the dark.
Don’t have a strong preference, although redheads catch my attention due to being uncommon. Obvious bleached blondes are a turnoff, but naturals (or well-done bleached) are fine.
It doesnt matter to me at all. My partner has naturally dark brown hair and often had it dyed blond. I like both of them. Hell, my own hair has been just about every color.
Brunette easily. Brunette women will be scores more attractive than a blonde woman (natural or otherwise) of the same body size/shape.
Redhead women are so few and far between where I live that I really can’t even say how they stack up against blondes or brunettes.
Don’t get me wrong – I love blondes, even if it’s a fake color. The most beautiful woman I ever met is blonde.
I just got out of a meeting with a coworker, and I was thinking about this thread. She could conceivably be considered any of the three colors. I guess she’s a copper.

I love dark haired women, the darker the better, though maybe not raven black.
Doesn’t matter much to me. My wife was a natural blonde but her hair turned light brown when she got pregnant with our first kid. A month after our son was born it went back to blonde. When she got pregnant a second time it went light brown again, and stuck there. To be honest I don’t spend a whole lot of time looking at her hair, I like other parts of her better 
So much of it depends on the hairstyle itself, and of coarse the woman standing under it. A page boy cut is really cute, but only in black, and especially on an Asian woman. Long straight fine hair is great in any color, but works best in blonde. It’s also amazingly sexy in blonde with black roots, which is a legitimate style now.
How do you translate “La nuit tous les chats sont gris”? Although it does work better with the feminine form.

Red
Dirty Blonde
Bald
Platinum Blonde
Of course the given person can make those change around a lot.
Brunette is my preference. Works for my wife since she is one.
