Considering the number of folks that posted in the Naked Threadkiller thread over The Lost Weekend, corelated with the fact that I have gotten a whopping 2 pics out of it, am willing to bet what we would end up with would be a small number of posters… like 5, posting their pics, and a metic buttload of folks viewing and appreciating said posts, but very little additional contribution.

I sit corrected it looks like guest can use private messages. It must have just been temporarily disabled during the server move.
Still, asking to see a poster naked in a thread devoted to naked pictures is one thing. Sending them a PM asking to see them naked is quite another. If Hypothetica posts to the NSFW thread, I can ask her to share her body without anybody thinking it’s strange. A private message out of the blue asking to see her naked is just creepy. (Although Dopers should feel free to PM me asking to see me naked)
Second, so what if the post to ogle ratio is low? Some of us like to be ogled.

I haven’t posted much in years now, but I do read the boards fairly regularly. I think this thread is a bad idea for the SDMB.
You can commence calling me a party-pooper as I have emailed a complaint to the admins and I hope they’ll get rid of it. I don’t plan to flounce away from the Dope if they don’t, but I hope to heck they will.
