wow. That cracked me up.

I have a dancing flowerpot that plays “in the mood,” and it has a motion sensor (which fortunately can be turned off). When I’m home, my little sister likes to turn on the motion sensor so whenever I walk by the shelf it sits on, it starts playing. Not very fun at 3 am when I slump off to the bathroom. I can turn off the motion sensor, but once the thing starts playing, it doesn’t stop and plays for a minute or two. I love the dancing flowerpot, and my friend got it for me as sort of an inside joke, so I can’t kill it. Maybe I should hide it instead…

You might be able to do interesting things with a whole bunch of those el-cheapo motion-detector burglar alarms.
