There’s work stuff I should be doing right now, but I’m feeling sleepy from my excellent lunch (a banana, and the other half of the Wegman’s turkey sandwich I got yesterday) and my next meeting isn’t until 2pm so here I am. Lucky Mumpers. 
I expected this morning’s traffic to be terrible, but it was actually on the lighter side; going home, though, will likely be a different story. I just have to remind myself that “worse than 2 weeks ago” still isn’t bad!
One of the symptoms of Bailey’s IBD is fairly constant hunger, which hurts my heart but is actually helpful when it comes to her meds: the pills aren’t big, and so far she’s wolfing down two laced Pill Pockets each morning. 
I’d rather not have to crush the pills and mix them into her food, since I don’t know how they taste and she’s already getting new stuff. Today I increased the old/new mix to 50/50, and on Thursday it will go up to 25/75; she’ll be 100% on the new food starting on Saturday. Waiting to see if it helps will be hard…I want my dog to be better NOW, dammit! 
I’m working on two long-term “to do” list items: over the weekend I finally reached out to my yard company about some landscaping cleanup, and this morning my car started bugging me about its next oil change – which isn’t due right away, but I’ve been meaning to bring it to the shop anyway for new windshield wipers and a general lookover (and now maybe a realignment). Hopefully I’ll be able to check both of those things off the list before the autumnal equinox (09/22 at 2:19pm ET).

I hope he agrees that the final decision rests with you unless/until his job changes!

I paid mine online a week or so ago, but over the weekend I got a “payment failed” notice; I think I managed to typo my bank account number. I’ll fix it the next time I do bills (the tax isn’t due until next month), but I no longer have the paper bill with my special ID so I’m not sure how I’ll be able to log in. I’ll find out this weekend.
Same here! Well, one of my favorite authors: another will have a new book out at the end of next month. I’m looking forward to starting to read this tonight.
What’s the other way you would/could go?
