Still quiet in N. Ali-bama; either folks don’t feel like setting off fireworks when it is under 50F or they are waiting until the time is closer (or maybe Ali-bama’s loss in college tackleball today dispirited them), Either way I suspect I’ll be asleep by that time.
Apparently planning to go to the garage opener company scared my device into obedience as it’s opening and closing the door just fine now. Split the afternoon into gym time and library time (to work on he Mega NY Times crossword; about 80% done) and came home to my usual Tuesday Mac-n-Cheese dinner. May watch some more tackleball tonight.
Heck, I’m old enough to remember Dick Clark from American Bandstand days.
talkie, enjoy the night and the family.
52, never heard of Andy Armadillo either, but I usually only visit the Roadhouse on Sundays in advance of the Church crowds.
doggio, hey, you should have stayed on-board, it might have been an adventure!!
rocky, glad Lager is doing better, but given his age it may be a harbinger of things to come, I’m afraid…
Not just feline ones either…
Bob-B, yeah, I concur, the one thing you don’t want to have to do is stop and maneuver some. Glad that help was fairly close.
Sticky Buns,
at that pic.
And just heard some fireworks go off, so some Ali-bamans are starting the celebrations…
BBBoo, best wishes for the surgery, keep us up to date.
Bat Boy, sounds like you can compare notes with boofae on commuting; I imagine she has a few more train choices than you do, however.
Cookie, good news about Sadie, give her time and she may yet become a lap cat.
NUT!! Good to see you around these parts again. How’s life treating you?
oopsie, no car inspections here in Ali-bama, glad you got it done in time. Keep feeling better.
And that’s all for now. Will try to get one more MMP post in before 2025.
