I’m still getting used to how soon it gets dark in the fall. I’m glad we didn’t live here when I was working, I used to hate going to work and coming home in the dark and I only did it for a month a year back in the land of “we don’t need no more stinkin’ sun”.
The forest is almost in full color now and traffic has gone up on the highway. We are planning on driving up north on our own peeping trip next week. Our forest is lovely, but there are other parts that are also lovely but different.

I’m assuming they were web parachutes and the babies are now busy colonizing the neighborhood. I hope they are friends.
Fall is soup season so this morning I started a big pot of Mexican Tortilla Soup. I am using the last of the bell peppers from my garden, two home grown tomatoes and one onion. Everything else is store bought, but will still be good.
I have seen too many repair guys change their stories when I got a man involved to be as kind as you are. I’m glad you know people and didn’t end up getting ripped off even more.
That is always true, no matter what the subject!
We’ve got a big fat squirrel out back, but I don’t think its our peanuts doing it. I think its the corn cobs Harry puts out for the critters. I’ve seen Fat Bob carrying a whole cob off to his tree.
That is indeed a tough situation. The family doesn’t want her to get hurt, but she’s an adult who is allowed to make her own mistakes.
I do hope it works out soon.
How did you like it? Would you do it again?
