Yes, people, this is a zombie thread!

But rather than starting a new one I wanted to get your help in updating or correcting the list I have been trying to gather from several threads dealing with Dopers’ ages and years of birth and whatnot.

Some of these people are no longer with us, for one reason or another, and some of them may not be in the 60-and-over crowd. But at least these 73 folks had those credentials at one time to be on such a list.

If you’re not on the list, and should be, please post a response to that effect.

Please help with any comments or changes you know to be applicable. Thanks.

It’s why I refuse to join them, I don’t look anything like the old farts in the picture and I didn’t appreciate them getting my bd to send me a card.

There are quite a few in the Over-60 crowd who have yet to vote in the 5-year or leap-year polls that are currently active. And there are others who voted there for whom I have no better details. In spite of that I can say that we have at least 80 Dopers in the category, 10 of whom are “inactive” for at least this calendar year. It’s still my belief that we “geezers” are under-estimated in our numbers, but I also recognize that that may be true of all age groups.

As soon as I have details on all the missing Over-60 folks, I’ll post a summary, most likely in 5-year groups so as to avoid too specific information to those who might abuse that.

For those in the 50-59 group who have participated in this thread, just know that I haven’t forgotten you! But your age group does appear to be better represented in the polls. If you have yet to be counted, either here or in the polls, please speak up. Or vote in one of the polls!
