After Kroger yesterday, I went in to work for 2-1/2 hrs. I had intended to do so this morning but since I invited daughter and her girlfriend to dinner yesterday, Bella was coming last night and not around noon today. When I got home after work, got busy making dinner. Hubs had already marinated the ribeyes and he got the ok from his Stem Cell Dr to be able to grill them. He hasn’t been allowed to grill anything for about 4+ years. I baked 
, sauteed onions and mushrooms, cooked some bacon to crumble for the baked taters, went to the garden and harvested 4 chives and some rosemary then washed and vinegared them and diced them up. Then boiled water for the 
Set the table with plates, napkins, silverware, water glasses and got out some wine glasses (wasn’t sure who would imbibe; turned out to be us 3 women; hubs did not). Got out a stick of butter for corn and sour cream for taters. Daughter had said she’d be here by 6pm. I told Hubs that since it was daughter, he should grill the steaks to be ready at 6:15-6:20 and I was right. After daughter left, I watched the 2nd men’s semi-final and Ben Shelton beat Francis Tiafoe. VERY happy for Ben but heartbroken for BigFoe.
After breakfast today Bella and I went on a 1.45 mile walk though the neighborhood; I let her choose which direction to go and it was one that we haven’t followed since last year and I liked that as I get bored going the same route. Then after a rest for Bella and some internetting for me, we walked to the Marian grotto at the church for the Rosary Rally. There’s a group that says the rosary at noon on the second Saturday of each month; I generally make it about 3 times a year. This was the 3rd or 4th time that Bella has been. She’s such a good girl; she stays by or under my chair, sometimes laying on the cement. I give her a treat every decade and a half. She received a lot of pets from the ladies and 2 men. This afternoon I watched the Spartans beat Eastern Michigan 35-7 who used to be the Hurons but that was deemed inappropriate; I’m not sure what their team name is now. Hubs walked Bella for her pre-dinner walk.
