Well, it wasn’t gonna be me.
The front yard got mowed, but barely. The lawn mower keeps cutting out. It’s not even a year old, and should be under warranty.
I’m pretty sure it was a house centipede. I’ve never seen one this big though. I think I would have been cool if it hadn’t been running towards my feet.
Not as scary as a wolf spider though, I had one of those in the house once.
At least none of the bugs here are of the infestation type.
Earlier I almost flipped out when I felt something go across my foot. But it was just Echo dripping drool on me as I was pulling out some treats.
My son went out to get my jackets off the line and found them in the grass. Fortunately, there was no damage to them. That’s the GR, they like to drag stuff around.
All my years of hanging stuff on the line and never had a problem until Ripple. Now these two.
My son’s vacation is over and I got nowhere near as much stuff done as I had hoped. He still has tomorrow off, so maybe we can get a little more done.
His days change from T-W-T to M-T-W starting in starting sometime in September. That sucks, I like to use Moondays as running errand day since Moonday and Toosday are the only days I can put all three dogs in daycare. I’ll talk with the daycare, they may let me use another day since the GR have been behaving themselves.
Didn’t be used to that August was the hot month?
(uploading ginger ale and vanilla ice cream)
I can manage that on occasion, but don’t count on any consistent pattern there.
Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Off to heave.
DH and I sought out a very middle-of-nowhere spot, which unfortunately “boasted” enough cold wind to be quite uncomfortable. Underwhelming meteor display, too.
We did see a few good ones. And I did get some pictures showing the Milky Way; by luck, a meteor happened to pass through one of them.
